USA Climbing make the move to Sport:80

We are delighted to announce that USA Climbing are the latest US NGB to join the Sport:80 Community. USA Climbing joins a growing movement of US NGBs choosing Sport:80 as their technology partner including the likes of USA Archery, USA Weightlifting and USA Taekwondo.

“Sport:80’s reputation in the industry is growing due their work with US NGBs and its easy to see why. Once we had experienced the Sport:80 Platform first-hand we knew that its innovative features would support us in achieving many of the goals we’d set for the coming years. Also, having spoken to peers that already work with Sport:80 we were confident that the support services they provide would be second to none.”

John Muse, High Performance Director, USA Climbing

USA Climbing were looking to procure a new technology platform to improve the online services provided to members. The NGB wanted to introduce new features that enabled members to be proactive when managing their profile within the sport of climbing, including areas such as SafeSport and background screening. USA Climbing also wanted to improve event-related services, giving event organisers a number of new digital tools to make event management more efficient.

By adopting the Sport:80 Platform, USA Climbing will be able to achieve their goal of giving members greater autonomy by centralising a number of services, including:

  • Membership Registration

  • Certification Management

  • Athlete safety initiatives including SafeSport training & background screening

  • Event Registration

  • CRM & Contact Management

  • Data Management

  • Marketing & Communications

  • Payments & Finance

Additionally, USA Climbing worked closely with the Sport:80 team to implement a number of rules and dependencies within the Platform that promote athlete safety. Among other areas, this included the mandatory completion of SafeSport training for all ‘Competition’ members.
